Say Hi to Our New Candidate City Logo

As our City of Culture 2021 bid deadline approaches we would like to introduce you to our official Candidate City logo for the bid!

To make the competition fair, all bidding cities will use a slightly different version of the same Candidate City logo for their official bid during the competition phase. We won’t be saying goodbye to our existing logo entirely; once shortlisted we’ll continue to use both until we win!

Perth will submit the official bid document to the Department of Culture, Media and Sport on 28th April 2017, which will mark the first major milestone into the competition. Shortlisted cities will have until 29th September to submit their second stage documents, where a winner will then be selected as the 2021 UK City of Culture.

Perth is facing some stiff competition from some fantastic cities including: Paisley, Sunderland, Coventry, Swansea, Portsmouth, Stoke-on-Trent, Warrington, Hereford, St David’s and Wells.

We urge you to continue supporting Perth by using the hashtag #PerthIsThePlace on social media, pledging your support and pledging your business support on our website.
